June 2013 I had a lactate test at Mensana to determine my heart rate zones.
I’m a big fan of running on heart rate, so you’ll see a lot of posts that have reference to it.
For clarification I decided to put up a page for it.

  • Rest Heart Rate: 52
  • Long Slow Distance (LSD) heart rate: 130-135 avg
  • Zone 1: 52-143
  • Zone 2: 144-155
  • Zone 3: 156-161
  • Zone 4: 162-167
  • Zone 5: 168-173
  • Zone 6: 174-182
  • Max Heart Rate: 182
  • Turning point (so when I start producing lactic acid): 169
