June 2013 I had a lactate test at Mensana to determine my heart rate zones.
I’m a big fan of running on heart rate, so you’ll see a lot of posts that have reference to it.
For clarification I decided to put up a page for it.
- Rest Heart Rate: 52
- Long Slow Distance (LSD) heart rate: 130-135 avg
- Zone 1: 52-143
- Zone 2: 144-155
- Zone 3: 156-161
- Zone 4: 162-167
- Zone 5: 168-173
- Zone 6: 174-182
- Max Heart Rate: 182
- Turning point (so when I start producing lactic acid): 169
